TEAM BUILDING

What better team can you build than a crew on a sailing boat? The aim is to get your 'crew' to work together as a close knit team to get the boat from A to B in the safest and most efficient manner. Lets face it, if you can't work as a real team then the boat will not go! Team building is all about working together.

Description

With no previous experience of sailing, we mould you into an efficient crew to meet the many challenges we throw your way. Everyone has a chance to be skipper, so no matter where you are in your company ladder, we'll bring out the very best in you.

The goal

At the end of the course you will all have to meet the ultimate challenge! No matter what the weather you will have to be resourceful and efficient but above all you must win!

Previous experience

None of the team need any previous sailing experience but they will all need to be physically fit and ready and able to get stuck in! You will be guided by one of our professional RYA qualified skippers who will ensure that everyone is safe and well taught in the art of sailing.

The Location

Based in Marina Bay, Gibraltar, which is a short hop away from the International Airport. We'll take you out each day and bring you back each night for a well earned rest. The City of Gibraltar is a short walk away and if you want to venture a little further then the Spanish border is a 15 minute walk away.

The Boat

We use our most rugged boat for team building. Desert Star sails extremely well when sailed correctly and yet is forgiving when not. She will look after you in all weathers and conditions and you'll all see the difference in her performance as you progress through your time with us and build your team.
